Alex knows both sides. As Digital City Officer and deputy to the Lord Mayor, he knows how municipalities work and where digital initiatives fail. As an Enterprise Architect, Senior Consultant and Global Head of Infrastructure, he has designed and been responsible for large IT landscapes. From this combination he began architecting a new kind of smart city platform – with artificial intelligence as its foundation.

Dr. Stephan Philippi

In Stephan, Alex found the right partner: also an Enterprise Architect, but with a strong focus on AI architectures, which he developed as AI & Product Lead for Cofinity-X among others. Holding a PhD in computer science, he has been working with artificial intelligence for many years, particularly in data science – a focus that also shaped his time as Head of R&D Enterprise Architecture for Dow AgroSciences in Indianapolis, USA.

Municipal practice, enterprise architecture and deep AI expertise in one team: the founders' combined experience is what makes craize unique.
